This is the pay-TV industry’s first such wireless service, Cisco officials said. The Wireless Gateway also connects to personal computers via Wi-Fi, Ethernet or a USB port and such devices as Wi-Fi cameras, network printers and mass storage devices.ĪT&T will launch the U-verse wireless receiver today for a one-time fee of $49 plus $7 per month for each TV receiver. An HD-ready DVR receiver on the television connects to that device. ![]() The new service, made by Cisco, provides wireless hookup of both Internet and television throughout the home through a central device called the Wireless Gateway.
